Joe Stilgoe: New Songs for Old Souls Live
The hotly anticipated debut UK tour, New Songs for Old Souls: Live, accompanies Stilgoe’s third studio album, which mixes incredible new songs with his inimitable takes of jazz standards and classics from the 1950’s to the present day. His live shows have seen him described as a ‘musical virtuoso’ (The Independent) and ‘truly remarkable’ (Sir Michael Parkinson), and with his band of world-call musicians, he is set to take the UK by storm.
Joe has twice topped the UK jazz chart, featured on many radio programmes including 6 appearances on Friday Night is Music Night on BBC Radio 2, The Horne Section on BBC Radio 4, In Tune, Loose Ends and The Chris Evans Breakfast Show among many others. He has played all the major international jazz festivals, had two sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and appears regularly at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s in London.
This tour follows Stilgoe’s West End debut in the unforgettable feel-good musical, High Society, as part of Kevin Spacey’s finale season at London’s most prestigious theatre, the Old Vic, where Joe also launches this new tour.
